I chose the photo above to best describe myself. Daring and impulsive and yet terrifyingly aware of the fragility of life.
I have so far led an extremely privileged existence, best described as being fortunate enough to find a solid support system when life has inevitably fallen apart.
My 5th grade teacher told me that I was good at helping others but I wanted to be a writer or a veterinarian. So I continued on, dabbling in a variety of careers, but somehow helping others has remained a constant in my life.
So... I returned to school in a leap of faith ... in the right direction. As if eveything had been orchestrated for this very time . I returned so that I could formally learn to help others; like others have helped me.
What I knew for sure, was that when things spun out of control, I needed help. I needed to reach out and find a safe space to explore myself.
That is what I want to offer you.
My family and friends teach me humility and my horse teaches me balance. My CV below fills the spaces in between, from where others have led me to be me.
